Internal Data Digest
Get an easy-to-use summary of previously-unused and confusing data from in-house surveys (including those done with SurveyMonkey), customer data, sales reports, Web stats, or government demographic and commerce data. Internal Data Digests deliver the analysis you don’t have time to do yourself. The digests help you make profitable decisions based on good information you didn't know you had.
Hart manipulates data extensively in Excel, converts the information into simple tables and graphs, and provides you with these plus a summary of recommendations based upon your business goals.
Example: Magazine SurveyMonkey Data
Produced for a crafts publisher, 2010.
Hart reviewed six past survey data sets, consulted with magazine staff, and recommended how publisher could use this existing data to make important marketing decisions rather than do a new survey. Hart pulled data from two SurveyMonkey surveys of magazine subscribers from before and after a major editorial makeover.
Report consisted of a well-organized Excel workbook that highlighted impact of magazine makeover on subscriber characteristics.
Goal of research was to enable publisher to make rapid decision about marketing strategy and editorial focus.
